Things to See and Do

There's always something new to see and do.

The great thing about Manchester is that there's plenty to do or see wherever you wander. Throughout the traditional neighborhoods you'll find interesting architecture, statues, and parks.

Visit the See Science Center in the historic Amoskeag Millyard or check into the history of the individual buildings. Stroll up the river to the scenic overlook at the Amoskeag Fishways Learning Center. Just outside of town you can take the family for a scenic drive along the Apple Way Scenic & Cultural Byway or go to The Children's Metamorphosis (a children's museum) in Derry.

And, if it's night life you're after, check to see what's happening at our Verizon Wireless Arena that hosts everything from Elton John concerts to Manchester Monarchs hockey games, or listen to the roar of Elm Street where live music spills from restaurants and pubs every weekend. And during the summer months Veteran's Park hosts the Thursday Evening Music Festival.
